Much has been written lately about housing and the mortgage industry. To be sure, many lenders and homeowners have experienced difficult times, with what is being called the “credit crunch” taking its toll.
However the perception that financing for homes is difficult to obtain, or at worst is unavailable, is simply incorrect. While potential homeowners at the extreme lower end of the credit scale may find fewer options for financing today than before, the vast majority of buyers, and the loan programs available to them, remain largely unaffected. Interest rates remain historically low and a variety of options exist for structuring financing to meet your personal needs.
